Hello Everyone, hope someone can help. I have a Ford Fiesta 1.6Lt 2013 here which was not charging.Has correct battery fitted and brand new. Fitted new alternator still not charging and code Lost comms with Generator control module.Alternator is a genuine aftermarket Valeo part.Checked wire between alternator & ECM Is Ok. Does it need coding so ECM & Alternator talk to each other as its a single wire LIN wire. Also i also should mention that i plug the original alternator in and check for codes but no codes but not charging.Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou

 Problem Fixed...Replaced Alternator with Genuine Ford Unit and all working.Even tho Valeo had same part number etc would not comm with ecm. Hope this helps someone out there!
