     U2023 is a fault received from external node. Idiot lights going off in cluster during a scanner autoscan is normal I believe.

     FAULT RECEIVED FROM A EXTERNAL NODE, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I HAD THE DEALER SOME TIME AGO REPLACED THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FOR THE TRIP MILEAGE RESETTING ITSELF, I WONDER IF THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT CODE. AND THAT CODE WAS SENT TO THE ABS MODULE. ALSO I HAD BRAKES DONE ON THE CAR. BUT I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT CODE MEANS, IS IT BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS DISCONNECT. THE ABS LIGHT NEVER CAME ON AND I DON'T THINK ANYTHING IS WRONG OR THE ABS LIGHT WOULD COME ON RIGHT?

    You need to start at the basics. Power and grounds  all check out?Here is a video of a guy fixing that code on a F150 that didn't even start.
