Does anyone have any experience scanning a 97 Ford Probe and getting bidirectional control?  I'm using a MaxiDas DS708 and when I scan via the OBDII connector I can get enhanced data just fine but when I go into the Functional Test menu it just errors and doesn't show any options.  I have tried via the Mazda 17 OBD connector under the hood using the Mazda 17 adapter but get no communication through that at all. 

Just wondered if anyone had successfully gotten any functional test data one of these, and if so, how does one go about it?
