I have an original key for an 02 Honda Civic.  I purchased chip keys and had them cut.  They all go into the ignition with no problem.  When I try and program them, I can go through the whole program but the immobilizer light won't go off and I get a failure message.  I've tried doing one at a time, all at once.  I don't want to do the lost key route as I only have the one key.  What am I doing or not doing to make it not work.  I have the Maxisys Pro.

So you can't use anything other than a Honda or a Strattec key?  I have one key registered and bought 2 keys from Amazon that had the correct chip (according to them, and the key number was correct, HD106PT ).    I'll check the trouble codes.  It said failure and the immobilizer light stayed on.
