i updated the software to my Autolink AL319. Not working.

Since, I've been unable to reconnect it to the computer to reset it. I've been unable to use it or the change any settings. The only options i have are tool self test, about and menu which it doesn't work. Any suggest?file: 20180915_164533.jpg -

HI JBoogie,I have the EXACT SAME ISSUE!Not happy!Did you have any luck getting help?I downloaded the update filesOpened Maxi-LinkII and performed the upgradesThe unit said upgrades complete and then...Same screen as you.No options to get back to update mode and the PC no longer recognizes the unit being plugged in to the USB.The Maxi-Link programs just says plug the unit in....Very frustrating. -

I had the same issue last week with my AL319.....Blank screen after update. FRUSTRATINGI was pleasantly surprised with Autel tech support...prompt action and reflashed my unit by remote access to my computer.I was told by tech support the AL319 is a generic reader and did not require upgrades.......hmmm.These are my quick notes from the procedure.....1) Download WINRAR 32 bit zip Program (Free) ....Just Google it (this program is required to open the zipped update pack)2) GOTO Autel Website....... GOTO Software Update Pack....Download 319AL3) Un-zip the files BIN and AUT files4)Press and hold ENTER/EXIT on the AL319 Unit THEN plug USB cable into your computer ...it will automatically default to Program Update mode.5) On the Autel update screen on the computer you should have a green box saying connected6) For UPDATE select the unzipped BIN File and load it7) For DTC select the unzipped AUT File and load itYOU MUST LOAD BOTH THE BIN AND AUT FILE for this to workOnce this is done your unit should work.......Hope this helps
