     I purchased the MX808 and love how it works. I have an issue with the VIN. I did the automatic search on my 2006 Mini and it gave a different VIN number when I did the scan. After the scan I shut down, the scan was to make sure I had no issues when I go to smog my car. Well today when I went there, the vehicle VIN did not match the car. It is the same one the MX808 pulled up. Does the computer rewrite the VIN on cars?

    Someone changed one or more of the modules and didn't program them. Check the
    modules one at a time and see what vin number is in them. The module with the wrong
    vin will need programmed or at least the correct vin programmed.
    When you connect to the car and do the vin scan does the tool display the correct vin?
