Error 1603 on Installing Maxi PC Suite V1.28

     I am unable to install Maxi PC Suite V1.28 on my PC running Windows 10. It should be compatible, but I am getting an error message when running the installer: "error -1603 Fatal error during installation".

    I have tried specifying a different path and checking that the SYSTEM account has rights, and running as Administrator.

    I purchased the MaxiLink ML629 for my Jeep Commander. The unit itself works fine, but I would like to ensure that I have the latest software updates.

     This is the link to the Autel Update tools. You can delete what you have and try downloading what you need and try running it  versus installing off a CD you might have got with the tool.

     I am having the same issue with software version 1.28 and 1.30. Were you able to fix the issue?

     I had the same issue. 
    When you run the setup wizard,  Maxi PC Suite tries to install in C:\Program Files (x86)\Autel\PassThru\Maxi PC Suit.
    And I get Error 1603

    I changed this to C:\Program Files and was able to install Maxi PC Suit, however the software updates for my ts201 would fail.

    I then uninstalled Maxi PC Suite (by running their setup wizard) and reinstalled it to the path:  
    C:\Program Files\Autel\PassThru\Maxi PC Suit

    I am now able to update my Maxi TPMS TS201 successfully!!
