    Communication failures on Ford 7.3l power strokes?
    I can't get my Mk808bt, mk808k, or md806 pro to communicate with a ford 7.3. I can use an elm327 and torque pro just fine. I'm guessing its something to do with the J1850 protocol

      What were the truck model and model year of the Ford Power Stroke 7.3 trucks that would not communicate with? Those engines are basically International Engines and on the Ford Truck models larger than F350 pickups, might be using commercial vehicle ECUs built to International's  specs.

    It tried it on a 1999, 2001, & 2002 model Ford F350 7.3 power stroke. Computers in
    these trucks are just a generic Ford ecm EEC V's. The issue is that Ford uses a
    different protocolfor ecm communicatio.

    Send the log file to support, see if they can help you, sometimes is a bug in the app, try to delete the ford app than do fresh install, sometimes this works, make sure you're subscription still good.

    I have an Elite and I can't communicate with the pcm on my 02 f250 7.3 which is kinda annoying because my coworkers launch will and it costs a third of mine.
