I have the Maxisys Elite system and spent the day downloading Honda software only to find out that I could not program the vehicle I needed to do.  Very embarrassing!!

This was on a 2004 Honda Odyssey that needed a new PCM reflashed.  I attempted it with the J2534 connected to my laptop with the OEM software.

Has anyone started a list of vehicles that cannot be programmed via J2534?

Attached is the ones that can from Honda's web site.

Does anyone know of a tool that can do this?  I need to add it to my collection.

I thought as of 2004 all cars sold in the US must be J2534 compliant.

Well seeing that this post really should be in the Asian car forum instead of the European car forum , I would assume it might be a Asian make vehicle sold in the European market , so possibly the laws about J2534 compliance for 04 and up in the USA don't apply for Asian cars in European Forum , LOL.

Makes sense, that went right over my head. I'm getting old and they say the mind is the
first thing to go, well maybe the second!
