tried to update ts 508 and now it is blank and unusable any ideas

     tried to update our TS508 and now is blank powers on now only thing it shows is 6 blank squares any ideas now tool is no longer usable at this point when plug into computer it is no longer recognized

     try hooking  up again, maybe bad connection.
