I have a Maxi Sys Elite , active update subscription, good reliable internet connection, a battery maintainer, and Function Viewer on MaxiSys Elite shows that I should be able to do online coding of a TCM on a 2014 Audi A8.

Car's shifting seems undecisive and sort of hangs between upshifts and had a fault code relating to TCM coding incomplete or something to that nature.I told the customer that coding the TCM correctly might correct the shifting issue. I assume this procedure should be performed with the MaxiflashEliteJ2534  and the provided USB cable versus the little VCI 100 and it's small micro USB cable.

I'm wondering if there is anyone on here can say coding functionality when listed usually works with a high degree of success or not? Like to hear Success or Horror stories? I'ld rather experiment on a 15 year old POS, where I can readily find a replacement salvage yard TCM, LOL
