2007 Toyota Tacoma base 2.4 L - Spare tire TPMS sensor reading from TS508

    I successfully replaced 4 TPMS Denso sensors on my Tacoma, but the spare tire uses a different Denso one because of its curvature (it has to be 20 degrees to fit it).
    For some reason my MaxiTPMS TS508 cannot read anything from that brand new Denso 550-0103  sensor which I am positive is the right one.
    What am I missing?
