I use the find VIN number and continue. When I get to START execute, Step 1 and Step2 are successful but Step 3: Security Access fails. I also have a The Diagnostic Box and that does the same. I spoke to there technicians and they said that according my registration the Security Algorithm was changed mid way through the year. I expect that has also prevent adding my key to the 2017-2018 models.
