ÍI am trying to figure out whether to keep this car or sell it and move on to something else

I am getting this codeP0711 (and other codes) Description ATF Temperature Sensor (Range/Performance)and I am wondering if I should even attempt to try to fix this car or should I trade this on in . What would be the next logical step in trying to diagnose what's the exact cause of this is.???? The only notable thing is this car has had issues with replacement windshields and their recognition by the ECM Etc that is far in the past though and I don't think it's related to this perhaps.
