I have a 2015 jeep Cherokee 3.2L with codes p0019 & U1424, car came to the shop with the p0019, so I did the camshaft position sensor on both sides, swap the solenoids to see if the code follows it didn't, I did the timing chain and the crank sensor, after the timing chain i got u1424 in the transmission and it goes into a limp mode, at this point I don't know what else to do. Does any body have deal with something similar.

Hi,check the wiring and connectors ,also module failures are common on these
vehicles ,most likely the tranmission is ok,try disconnecting the battery cables for a
few minutes and see if this helps.check the front control module/tipm module, tcm and
    pcm.
