I have a 2016 glc mercedes benz one of my customer fitted a second electric steering power rack there there is fault code P164400 the steering very stiff anyone can help please

     I change electric power steering  with another one try to program its  to the car still get the same code P164400

    Hi,,p164400 refers to a bad trans ecm(TCM),check this,and check the power supply((
    harness for open or shorted, and check the electrical connectors. Also check the
    condition of the cars battery.

     All connection is good going to the power steering all supply  is my good, cans circuit is ok because i am an communicating with power steering,i fitted a second hand one and try to program  it with maxiSys elite 11pro and then this code comes up .
