km100e, will not reset device password

hi, i received my km100e today, set it up and successfully reprogrammed a ford fusion with no working keys.after the device went into standby it wouldnt accept the password, swiping right at the bottom of screen it offers a password reset via an email code, i enter the code, it says uploading, then nothing,other than the quick setup guide, there are no instructions at all, i did see video guides when it was open for specific functions but they are no use when i cannot open it. -

Hi,pull down lock screen and slide up the magnifying glass icon until entering the
interface ,enter email address and verification code to help reset password. Also you
can see Google,you tube for instruction video about this.
