Purchased a used passenger door control module for a 2004 BMW 530i to resolve an issue with the original unit.  Replacement control module resolved the central locking issue but is throwing an SRS error due to chassis mismatch.  The module still has the VIN from the donor vehicle.  I have attempted to initialize and code the replacement but the coding step is failing.

 Update - followed the prevailing internet guidance and used a K+CAN to USB cable along with WinFKP to make the change.  Had to perform a system time reset using Tool32 and all faults now cleared.
