unable to reset service light with mot pro

     i have just purchased an mot pro and tried to reset a service light on an audi a4 but was unable to do so? does the machine need to be registered first? i have just registered it and havnt tried it again yet

    please help

     the message i get says

    the vehicle program is not authorized please obtain the authorization

    Hello,
    This problem can only be solved by an update, the server for updates is disabled at this time it should be returned to service in early January, if you just buy it you should ask for an exchange or wait until 'in January to perform an update

    THe update of hand tools is ready now. Pls log in our server with PC SUIT V6.13 and do the update.
