I've been thinking of getting the maxiflash to add to my 908. My question is when your sub expires do you still have j 2534 features throuh autel server or do they shut it down and make you get another sub.

They had flashing through Autel server for some GM cars before, but it was taken out. I hope they put it back in future updates. But you are able to flash vehicles with Maxiflash Pro through manufacturers website and software subscription using a windows laptop, just like using any other J2534. I never have done a reflash through Autel, so that's a good question...

Thanks, I did'nt know if that worked like updates, if you still had that feature up to
expired date or not. Thanks for making that clear. I do have another question. When
buying the maxiflash, do you get access to your server with pc? Is that just with
maxisys. In other words would I get renewal with the purchase of maxiflash or would
you have to buy maxiflash then when maxisys expires you have to renew maxisys sub?

Renewal meaning access to your server with pc, not update for scanner. I guess I
should ask when buying maxiflash do you get access to your server for 1 year with a
pc? Does anyone know?

If you use maxiflash pro(j2534) with maxisys, that's to say, you have maxisys pro, then once paid the maxisys pro update, you have update reprogramming access for Benz and BMW. If you use the J2534 seperately with downloading software from manufacture websites, then just get that softwares, no update period limit to J2534.

if i buy the maxiflash pro-j2534- and i pair with my ms 908,not the pro. i need to pay for another year updates? -PRO UPDATES-
i m in the updates period till november 2015

The update period is decided by the maxisys. If the maxisys is within free update, then the newly upgraded maxisys pro is within free update.
