I  have successfully been able to do GM,FORD, CHRYSLER 2010 and up. Toyota, Nissan ecm/tcm update flash, not for blanc ecm/tcm  programming which requires the Nissan v12 interface with consult3+ or NERS. out of this 6 vehicles makes only on Honda I was not successful with.   USA region.

note: most sites will only allow powertrain(ecm.tcm, abs) flashing/programming with the used of a j2534, only on gm you can do a few more modules but not all an MDI most be used in some cases.

I think if you use a not original software you could be able to flash... I will test and post here the results.

Forget the oem validation. Try it.  Most of the OEM, only has 1 or 2 brand validate.

I've done Holden ECM's on Astra and Commodore models.  Haven't tried any other modules but I will tomorrow.
I'm definitely going to try out Toyota Techstream and Ford IDS tomorrow.  We've got an MDI and VCM1 so haven't delved in to the Maxiflash box too much but I'd like to know every manufacturer it can do so I'll be watching this forum closely!!

Toyota Techstream connected to it with no fuss at all. Haven't programmed any modules though, just general dealer functions.
GM Tech2Win doesn't recognise it so linking security up after programming is useless for now.
Ford IDS is not detecting it.
Nissan Consult Plus is not detecting it either.
