We're getting ready to order an ECM from Chrysler for an 04 Sebring convertible. I've had my MaxiSys Pro for about a year now and have had cold feet about using to flash anything. I've read a lot of the posts and have figured out that it's best to use the J tool with a laptop and IE.

My biggest concern is that I don't want to program/initialize the new unit or make it not reprogrammable in any way.

I haven't found any solid evidence that says I can do this without towing this car to the dealer and shelling out $120 plus the tow.

Any feedback or advice would greatly appreciated.
