I just purchased the VAG505 and a review posted by someone who had purchased it said he was able to reset service alerts and oil service alerts (which I have done and it works great) but he also said it allows you to turn off the seat belt chime with it too. He said he has a newer model Audi and so do I. I have been unable to find that option and have updated software and still unable to find the option. Any help would be appreciated! -

Hello sir, " turn off the seat belt chime" this function is not covered by VAG505 -

Are you sure he wasn't talking about using VAGCOM? Which is the diagnostic cable and software from Ross Tech. I have been using vagcom for years, and it's a very easy thing to code the seat belt chimes off for Driver and passanger. Located in the IC (instrument cluster) module. #17 if I can remember off the top of my head.
