not able clear the error for brake pads sensor after brake pad change Audi A8 2011

     I recently changed the brake pads on 2011 Audi A8, i am having couple of issues. 

    1. the manual is outdated. does not show how to adaptation on rear brake pads. 

    2. opened and closed brake pads successfully and did the brake pad replacement, but i am not able to clear the error from my dash. 

    3. i am not able to clear any error from the dash, is this tool clears the error or is not compatible with my vehicle?

    if not i need to return this tool, and get something compatible with my car. Please help..

    Run engine to stabilise voltage. Clear fault with engine running. Operate epb in 5 second interval then release epb next turn off ignition, wait 10 seconds. Start engine and repeat process 5 times clearing fault codes each time with the engine running.
