is anyone using these and having any luck with them. i have a maxisys and a TS401 i didnt know with the MX sensors if they came with a sensor ID and you could use the scantool and or the TS401 to activate them like you would with a standard sensor or if these were blank and had to have a ID programmed to them?

The MX-Sensors are universal sensors that need to be programmed with the TPMS PAD.  You can use theTS401 and copy sensor ID's and clone them for people that use winter summer tires so they don't need to re program sensors to vehicle.  There are two versions, the 315 mhz and the 433 mhz for vehicle application. I think the TS601 can program sensor's directly.  Since you have the TS401 then you need the TPMS  pad, I ordered one and awaiting its arrival via snail mail from China.  I think these sensors carry a 2 year warranty where Schrader only gives you one year.  When I get them I will check out the quality of sensors/

For the record - I have just bought a TS401 and have updated to the latest firmware  (5.31) and IT DOES REPROGRAM and CLONE SENSORS!

Thanks for the info. I must add that there are two places to get updates on same website, but only the one from this link will be the latest one.

you'll need a scanner to program most sensors bacause the ts401 is not a "stand-a-lone" unit....what vehicle are you working on??

I have a TS 401 and was wondering if I had a car with one bad TPMS sensor that could not be read with the TS401 but I retrieved the ID of the dead sensor from the  vehicle's TPMS module live data with my Maxisys Pro , is there  way to enter the sensor ID of the dead TPMS sensor to the TS 401 and have it write this ID to the new blank MX sensor ?

Yes, use the Manual Create function. Indeed you won't need to relearn the sensor to the tpms unit if you fixed the MX sensor back to the same location of the original (bad) sensor.

    Dear customer,

Yes,you can use "Manual input"to program the blank mx-sensor by input the ID retrieved from ECU of the vehicle, and you don't have to relearn by using this method.(Please note:Don't mess up the position of each sensor)
