you must install the firmware AND the dtc update to get a working set of software.

I only have one xxx.bin file to klick on, is it firmware or is it dtc update? Please tell me how to do it.

There are 2 files the bin file for programme update and AUT file for DTC update, when you click select file only the relevant file will highlight, you must update both.

thank you for the info, but how do you update both files? Only the BIN file shows up.

How to update the AUT file? Please tell me the sequence to do it. I got no idea!

Finally I found the solution! I was confused in "Maxi-Link" about the "update DTC"  window. I thought it was for

OBD2 tools only, so I never clicked it.- stupid me- .  Now everything works fine.

Again for the not so smart people, like me: 1. "Update Program" - select BIN file, 2. "Update DTC" -select AUT file --DONE

Thank you for making me think--------
