     I have updated my ts401 to version 3.00. Now on shutdown I get a message on the screen that says.....aut vesion is defferent with bin version! Please update! Would like to know what this means and what do I need to update. Tool seems to be working ok.

    I think you forgot to also update the DTC file.

    When you use the updater program ( Maxi-Link II ), you need to load both files.  For  "Update Program" select the file with the "bin" file extension and for the "Update DTC", select the file with the "aut" file extension.  You can update these together or separately.

    to get a working system you must ALWAYS update the firmware (bin) and the DTC (aut) as this set has depenencies.

    I use the software,
    connect the device,
    select the bin and aut files
    update the firmware (bin)
    update the DTC (aut)
    disconnect
    power off
    Power on
