The TS401 can NOT duplicate ID's for TMPS sensors.
I reads only the information from sensors. No connection to the car or any programming device is provided.

  I am not sure, but I thought that recent updates added the function of  writing an existing ID of a defunct sensor to certain new programmable Blank TPMS sensors sold by Autel and maybe other manufacturers.  If you retrieved and wrote down the IDs of the 3 working sensors with the TPMS and found one you cannot retrieve the ID, then with a DS708 or Maxi Sys you should be able to look at the ID # s and information to figure out which of the four ID #s  is the one of the non functioning sensor. With the TPMS tool in programming mode write that id to the programmable TPMS sensor or with the Maxisys edit the old # to the id of the new TPMS sensor.
