Screen always on while charging

     While charging the battery with the ac adapter, I can't get the screen to turn off. Pressing the power button or even holding it down does nothing. If I unplug the ac adapter it shuts off normally. Is there a way to turn off the unit while charging?

     hey Miles, looking at page 14 in the manual, at the bottom there is a NOTE states that the unit will stay on with external power, and when powered by the internal battery it will turn off ant the time you set it to within the settings menu....hope this helps...

      Hello! How can I verify the integrity of the internal power supply, battery? My Autel TS401 was made in the year 2016, and I bought it in February 2017. First I charged AUTEL, but he quickly charged! This indicates a low battery. I worked today with the 2005 Lexus LX. The first three wheel quick scan, and fourth and fifth/alternate VERY SLOWLY! Could it be a bad battery? Help me, please!
