     I have a TS401 I have not updated it in a long time. At first I tried to use the maxi link software on my computer to update it but the files aren't the right type. I now downloaded the newest maxi link 2 and the files are correct however my device will not connect to the software. My h/w version on it is v2.20 and s/w v3.00

    Connect your tool with your computer via a USB cable we provided.
    Download the TS401 update pack in our site. Unzip it.
    Enter "update mode" in your TS401, then check if the status bar on the upper right corner of Maxilink II program turns to green. If yes, you are ready to do the update. If it is red, pls check the connection again.

     windows 7 is also ok
