i just purchased a Autel MaxiScan^® VAG405, from a Danish store, and cant turn it on, so i called the store he said that i needed to install Autel Pc Suite but it still could not get it to turn on, then i called Again, this time he said he heard wrong and thought i bought a autel vag 505, and now he told me that the Autel MaxiScan^® VAG405 cannot be updated.

If this is true why is there a cable to connect the toot to the pc with in the package?

Is this true i cant update the MaxiScan^® VAG405 ? and why wont it turn on when connected to my pc...ive tried pc's with Windows 7 and Windows 8 no luck.

Please help.

   It worked when connected to my car or my dads, when connected to my car skoda fabia 1.4  mpi petrol i chose the option obd2/eobd and it finds it fine, but my dads seat cordoba 1.9 sdi it can't find it  through obd2/eobd option, i have to chose the vw/audi options.
