Really read about quite a few unfortunate people that either accidentally erased or damaged their software that are being forced to buy a new sub.file: jack nicholson.jpg -

yes that really is bad.. i have asked for this before but as usual it gets kicked into the long grass.... -

If not a restore partition , at least have a built in accessible Legacy software area that moves the last version of OE make software to it if you wish to save it before updating to the next , so if a new update is a lemon you can make lemonade out of the situation by at least being able to access the last less sh@tty software version you saved.
