It would be nice to have a VIN write option for this unit. Because the launch x431 bluetooth thingy can write vin and also do a replacement action for modules. The MK808bt cost me €500,- and the launch x431 bluetooth is the same price but can do more...?Hope you can fix it in the next update -

I paid 280€ from Autel directly ^^
But basicly you are right... VIN Programming feature would be nice but much more importand would be
if the autodetection of VIN and DECODING of VIN would working fine on every car what it doesnt does.
VIN Autodetection isnt working on a BMW E61 build 2009 (only manual VIN scan works) and also not Autodetection
isnt working on a testet Peugeot 307cc build 2001 (manual VIN detection works, but cant decode VIN, only full manual input
will work and the software also decodes the VIN) -

Yes I paid €500,- from UK, So I expect everything to work fine. Yes I work alot with BMW programs like ISTA+ E-SYS etc, but bought this unit to diagnose cars quicker. I tested this on unit on a Ford Focus, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes and BMW. Every car I need to put the VIN manually or via models. Hope Autel will fix this problem soon. (Last update was putting al the car logo's back to the ugly black logo's)
