    Give us the option to upgrade the Immobilizer capability of a MaxiSys S Pro or Elite to IM 608 without need to purchase a platform . Sell the XP200 with a IM508 USB 3.0 software thumb drive. Purchase XP400 kit instead if you want to do BMW and Mercedes

     Wow not very happy to hear that. I bought the IM608, but knew that I could upgrade the elite with the software of the im608 .... grrrrrrrr. But can you do the opposite: download elite software to im608 to have the programming of BMW / MERCEDES ???

     Hey They have not done that , it was only a suggestion for Autel to allow you to add a IM608 locksmith  software module to the MaxiSys platforms that have the larger 64gb internal memory and you would  purchase of an XP400 key programmer set.
      Autel actually does sell the add on ADAS software separately that you can add to a 64gb  Maxi Sys Platform, so why couldn't they also offer add on Lock Smith software, or Commercial vehicle software?  Can save half the expense of buying redundant hardware, and having extra lithium batteries, plastic and electronic waste going into landfills in a couple years after their next New Flash in the Pan you need is released

     I just bought a new  IM508 I found under $1K  to be able to do the  key programming on newer cars that my Elite can't do. I wanted to at least try out my new IM508 out before having to register the unit but disappointed Autel doesn't at least let you test it out once before you have to connect it to the Internet and register the unit . I'm waiting to get a newer vehicle that I can't do with my MaxiSys Elite before I use it the first time and . I got the APB112 for about $200 already and eyeing a XP400 programmer but that will be another $700 or more. it be nice to have option just to add an XP400 with the immobilizer app software card to Maxi Sys platforms with 64gb internal flash for $800 and not have to deal with any redundant BS.
