Need to add a small VCI device to the MS919 and MSULTRA. The Huge VCI that comes with it is too big to lug around all day from car to car.

I would think the VCI-100 would work, but you should call support first.

Yeah that VCMI looks pretty bulky and must have some weight heft with the internal battery . I was initially pretty impressed that you could scope the CAN network directly off the DLC connector but didn't see anyone mentioning if you can run a AC coupled relative compression test directly from PIN 16 battery and PIN 4 ground of DLC without using a DLC breakout box.

Obviously if the car does not have clear flood strategy you may have to disable fuel pump and might as well just scope relative compression by voltage in AC couple mode directly off the battery under hood .You obviously would want to know if the car has a compression deficit issue right off the bat with the least invasive amount of work or tossing a tuneup and coils at something with a dead miss without confirming compression  if a customer has no money to proceed with repairs.

It worked with my old maxiflash pro and connected through Bluetooth so I imagine any of the older vci devices would probably be compatible.
