The original DS708 is no longer supported by updates. IMO, The MS906BT would be more advanced equivalent in capability to the original DS 708.

 (IMO  at end of production some functionality seemed to quit working or disappear toward the end of DS708 production. A.) because of software changes due to Ford Lawsuit and other companies threatening    and B.)  in order to make it's functionality pale more in comparison to the new Android MaxiSys platforms that were just being introduced
