have just got a 2nd hand/demo MD701, firmware 1.01, system SW 2.11, HW 1.00

tried to connect to my 3D Yaris D4D from 2007 (Body code/VIN: VNK, i.e produced in France) : It cannot find it auto/specifically just a year like 11 , try once mor year -13?..so not identifying same code always

live data listing of MAF and RPM looks fine, trottle always on 3-5% scale (even at WOT) and MAP pressure always on 100-102 kpa range..that cannot be true as engine runs ok with no MIL (am 'just' trying trace ocassional p0101). some Toyota specifc cdoe related to ABS etc also turn but no VSC, ABS error ligts are up!

Try manual I D..list all body codes of Toyota : NONE are VNK

I cannot trust what MD701 i giving, it is useless as is now

so how can I get an update to get VIN VNK identified?
OR what alternative body code to VNK can I use?
