That's very cool and very interesting...

   I'm trying to reset the Tiptronic Transmission adaptation, I just changed out the Valve Body on a 2004 Cayenne and it's required to reset the transmission adaptation.  I was told by Autel presales/technical support via email Tommy Daulas  that the MaxiDAS 708DS would be able to reset transmission adaptation as well as throttle body etc etc. I have dug deep into the software when plugged into the Cayenne and do not see the reset adaptation feature.  I have looked at other vehicles in the 708DA and they show it clear as day referring to "adaptation" functions, but not in Porsche.

The Durametric I am looking at come in TWO flavors, The Professional kits support an unlimited number of cars. The Enthusiast kits support up to three cars only. The limitation of the Enthusiast kit is based on the car's VIN - not model.

Thanks, as far as I know right now the only thing missing is the adaptation functions.  How long do you think this may take?

My concern is if or if not this is going to be added in a timely manner as I don't want to be stuck with an expensive door stop ;)

I have some time availabe to return device, but I cannot wait too long

I am looking for resets and adaptation specific for Porsche.  I have seen the adaptation capability (I believe) with other manufactures in the 708DS but the resets and adaptation features are not available nor seen in the Porsche selection in the 708DS
