i'm not so sure about that, unless the launch pad has changed a bunch in the last year i wouldn't recommend it, our matco tool guy let us try there version for about 3 months and no one in the shop was very impressed, at that time the maxisys was a big step up

For the past few months I have been borrowing the Matco Maximus to do keys on older Hondas, those that my Maxisys used to do. I haven't tried it for newer Handas thou. Maxisys is my favorite scanner, it sucks that some times  you need a different tool to finish the job.

I just saw the x431 PAD on sale at autointhebox and ordered one, I also have to update my Maxisys, but I'm going to wait a litte and see if they fix the bugs first.

I just checked a 2011 Honda CRV and the all keys lost function is there and i'm using version 3.20.  If I get some older models, I will check those as well.

Honda V3.20 Is what I'm using. I did few older Hondas last year with Maxisys, the "all keys lost" was under "replace ECU" menu within immobilizer, but after updating it is not there any more for older cars, at least for those I have tried.

I found mine in control unit, immobilizer, Add or Delete Keys, then it said Add 1 key, Delete or Add Multiple Keys, and All Keys Lost?   Maybe they moved the link from Replace ECU to Add or Delete Keys to streamline duplicate functions. Just a guess

Launch is a joke. They do work. Software has too many gaps and if your tool is hacked
which is common ( I know fist hand ) launch will not stand behind it. So...... good luck
with launch. I'll never have another one. Still have mine but it can't be updated
because of the hack and now I have this 908p. I never use it. 908p is more complete.

I understand that Launch is not as good as Maxisys but I have run into some situations where I had to use  either Launch or Snap On. I will give you a couple of examples: 2006 Toyota Prius, Maxisys wasn't able to do an ABS Linear Valve calibration  (VLV) but Snap On Verus did it; Another occasion on a Dodge Grand Caravan don't remember the year exactly but around 2007, I could not to a yaw rate reset with Maxisys, it was giving the wrong instructions, but Lauch was able to do it.

Checked Immobilizer with Maxisys (V3.20) on: 2003 Acura MDX,  2001 and 2003 Civic, 2003 Accord, all immo functions were available in these particular vehicles, like  all keys lost, add/delete keys, Immo ECU replacement, etc. So apparently some Immo functions are only missing in some cars.

As with all scan tools. Agreed. But if you can't update your tool (mylaunch) becauee
of a hack and they won't stand behind why do business with them. Autel if you let
them know fixes the situtation foryou right away. I'll stick with autel. All I do is
diagnostics and I have so many different scantools. But the most compkete is Autel.
