i use boot-it bare metal works perfectly i have 10 c: partitions on my laptop 2x win7 8x xp pro.

it is the best partition manager out there, i keep an xp master with all drivers so if i need a clean install its format the old copy and paste the entire partition with new xp on up and running again in 10 mins flat.

     Hi busaman,

I remembered that you mentioned it before and it helped me. If you see the first link in my previous post, BootIt Next Generation, the predecessor is there.
    http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may01/articles/pcmusician.asp.
Even a free software is also mentioned, Boot-US 'www.boot-us.de'.

Now, one has his own choice. I did not use any of the above softwares extensively so I cannot compare and comment on the performance of these softwares.

    Thanks for your support.
