I did a Google search and found the file you are referring to. That is not MaxiTools.

 This is can be done with an elementary level shell script.  Ill bring my Maxisys home tomorrow and after I do a full backup, write it up, test it and set up a download.  The nice thing about shell scripts is that they are not compiled like a program written in a language such as C or C++, so anyone can open the file and read what it does (assuming you know super basic linux commands).  

 I would be interested in the MaxiTools software if still available. The Scandata Database appears to not be accepting new members, so I can't join and download at this time. Any assistance would be appreciated, as our shop has 2 MaxiSYS in use currently. This software would streamline things for us.
