I have tested on more than 10 to 12 cars and non of them worked..................... -

My Maxisys has VW V2.31 and I have done a Beetle and a Golf I believe, both older than 2003. -

Its normal to not to read pin code, we're lucky if it does sometimes cause I've seen
several oem scan tool doesn't even read pin like honda hds and toyota techstream -

We are talking about VAG cars and there many after market tools out there that which can read pin codes on VAG cars................ -

I have tried several cars and never had the chance to read. But I know that not all tools can read the IMMO.Even with VAG commander yo can not read all the immo 2 and 3.And be carefully with which tool you use, because there is some tools that make to show in IC the word "FAIL" and I think it's impossible to be removed. -

most VAG cars have the immo stored in the instrument cluster (usually a 24c02 or 24c04 eprom) if you can get a read of that i will tell you your PIN.
