When using live data, the pid data is very slow (work on GM vehicles) this can espcially be seen when graphing as there is a delay, then jumps a couple seconds, pauses then jumps again. Trying to watch the O2 sensor data swings, very slow to show the change and just jumps from the low to the high and back down. Vehicle had a clear idle surge, but RPM reading was not picking up the full RPM swings. Any fix for this?
Support emailed me, I replied with a youtube link showing a video of the latency of the time I push the throttle pedal to the time it actually shows up on the display.
trask, no I did not deselect any of the pids. I will try that on the next car I scan and see if there is any difference. I understand why that may help, I really dont feel that we should have to. In my opinion, there is no reason why the hardware should not be able to keep up.
Here is a link to the video, watch the APP angle and even the engine rpm related to when I push the throttle and the amount of delay till it registers.
