 If they can't take responsibility for diagnostic tool software.............. you think they will develop software to remap the ECU..........? and not any other  cars than the BMW and who will be responsible for any ECU damage........................?

  This ain't NASCAR where we get to experiment .I'm sure that the Lawyers and Bean counters are telling Autel to downgrade and or remove capabilities the tool may have once had, let alone adding more capability for culpability for possible damage to person or property caused by tampering  . I kind of doubt you can even  adjust the speed limiter up to 150 mph anymore on a Benz anymore, let alone mess with changing  timing , and fuel injector volume control.LMFAO. This guy probably isn't even a mechanic and he's showing people how he's getting his dad's car ready to exceed the safe speed of it's tires with a Maxi Sys Pro., LMFAO.

 the maxisys is a "DIAGNOSTIC " - "TOOL" not a remapping device. You need something like this http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/accessport/bmw-n54-accessport-v3-ap3-bmw-001. But before you go messing with this engine one needs to keep some things in mind like the cost of the engine you could damage. 

 I agree with you. it is why I ask Support if that is true. I think the misunderstand the question.
