Your already at the Android version the Maxi UI is 3.03.00 released 11/2/15. Go into your account and check devices for software update subscription period. Server was telling me to register scanner which was done 2/28/15 when I was on version 2.99 so don't trust info. If you have ES file manager already not root explorer with 2.99 you'll need the newer software for compatibility with current UI

 Thanks for the heads up.Im to scared to pay $1295 for my MS908PRO upgrade,till I know what I get.I clicked on buy upgrade,it says check out whats covered,every box I clicked was blank.Its an alright unit for the price but havnt been able to do half what I was told in the brochure or sales videos,lol!

 Thanks tech54 for your reply. I have something called ES file Explorer not manager is this the same thing and have you upgraded to the new version? If so do you have any problems? How is it working? My subscription ends on 01/07/2016.

                       Yeah your right it's called ES file Explorer but to me it's a file manager that they used to be compatible with their UI current version. I keep saying manager because when I was checking  ES file explorer they had a couple other downloads one of which I did download their version of a task manager (cleans cache,optimizes etc.). So far I'm not having any issues with all these updates including Vin reading but still lightly used so far. I don't know if it's because I went right from system version 1.30 to 2.99 and on to 3.03 skipping 1.99 and 2.00 figuring why so many system updates for a short time to work with the new file explorer and glad I did.
