     i am sure the ms908 has the same software worldwide but the pro version has different functions for some makes i know for sure BMW is different i have compared them...

    The BMW and Benz software in Maxisys Pro are different with Maxisys, because Maxisys can support programming Benz and BMW. But Maixisys can not.

     As far as I know. The tools have different software for each continent.

    That is simple, because not all the cars that you have in Asia are in Europe.

    Maxisys 908 Pro it's better than the Mini. The reasons are:

    - You can do Programming/Coding in all BMW ( Mini does not do in F series)
    - With J2534 VCi, you can connect to OEM websites and/or OEM software in order to do diagnostic and Programming/Coding (it various brand to brand).

     does that work for all OEM  portals or just BMW MERCEDES..

     In theory they have to work in all brands, and all cars that have the least EURO V protocol.

    But haven't test it all brands yet.
