i tried connecting to a 2014 npr, cant get live data?

If he works on a lot of Isuzu NPR's , I suggest he purchases a Tech2. Maxisys is useless on Isuzu. -

If there is network connection error, it is suggested you reboot your device or close Maxisys App from background to have a try.
Close Maxisys App:
Keep pressing Maxisys, move it to App Info in top, then Clear Data, Clear Cache, then Force Stop it. Restart Maxisys to try. -

May we know what's your problem on Isuzu? I don't find any datalog about Isuzu under your Maxisys SN. -

I can read and clear codes, but cannot access live data or functional tests.
Engineeringsaid there is a fix in next update in June 2016!! Unacceptable!! -

NPR (No point replying?) It's a commercial vehicle Isuzu truck . I'm not sure where an automotive scanner draws the line between automobile and light truck coverage and commercial vehicle and heavy duty truck coverage.
