they are mostly exactly the same as OEM (but there are rubbish ones out there) choose a good and reccomended vendor not the cheapest and i personally use IDS every week with no problems to use the pass through funciton unlees you have the calibration files which the last set was v81 (2013 i think) you need to go through the motorcraft site and pay to use it..
customs on $150 wont be a lot..

 Today they relase 6.50 just rubbish wont fix anything. Transit pats wiped for good loks like. no repply for my issue for over a 2 weeks with evan simple sorry. Already lost over 400 pounds turning customers away. What a bunch of thiefs. And they asking customers to PAY for updates so they can screw them up and make tool useless

  this is the way things have been going for 2 years now dont expect it to change or get a reply on here there preppared to take your money but they are not concerned about the problems......

i now have an old maxidas ds708 and an old maxisys 908 and i will NOT  be paying for updates or buy a new tool..

performance and support is the lowest it has ever been.........
