 Did you ever find a fix for the BMW update? I'm having the same problem.

 the only fix is to make room in your tablet by deleting anything and everything you don't use, including the old bmw,mini and rolls Royce software, clear cache, browser, history everything old.  the 908p and elite should have come with bigger ssd/sd hard drives to support all this new updates but it didn't. autel is either too dumb or too evil, take your pick.
