     Hallo i have a problem whit my NEW Autel MaxiSYS PRO tool, i have problems whit read VIN on sevel cars now, i have tryed on 3 Toyota Yaris year (2006-2008-2010) and before i have no truble to read them, so what is happing here, is this related to software issue?????
    Tryed a Wv Golf, will not read VIN, tryed then manuel VIN on Golf/ Toyota Yaris, this will NOT help, this is not good, i have to reley on this tool, if it dosent woork propely, why use it?????

     Make sure the interface is up to date, hook up to the tool with the supplied USB cable and and check for firmware updates. Best do that every so often.

     Have done that now, lates Firmware, and software, now still not working????

    What to do now????

     Please I am facing the same problem recently, before I wasn't having problem in reading VINs sometimes it doesn't detect automatically and I put it manually and it picks but recently is not reading VINs for some car like Toyota Prado. 

    Please help, we have already downloaded all the updates for the software and still the problem persist.

     See i am NOT the only that have thise problems, it seems that somthing was wrong whit the latest opdate, i dont know maby Firmware or Software, do there is someone that can help here, or do we have a Scanner MaxiSYS PRO whit no use, this is a problem here, need some help please, i have also send a Email to Autel, but NO ANWSER, why is that??????

     My system is. MaxiSYS Pro
    Serie Number. V09G80501351
    Brand and Version. Toyota Yaris 2006 2008 2010 3 difrent cars.
    Car information. Toyota Yaris 2006 1.4 disel VIN. VNKKC96300A125927 And Yaris 2008 VIN. VNKKC96390A127725
    Country. Denmark.
    Problem is. Will not read the VIN number on all this cars, i have tryed manuelt, this dosent wook too, so maby Firmware problem, or maby software?????

     If it wont work using a cable to the interface all you can do is reset the tool and hope. I called them once and was told updates can sometimes get corrupted and cause failures and they reset all the time. Call support for assistance

     Halo i have tryed to use Autel MaxiSYS Pro on 3 difrents cars(Toyota Yaris 2006-2008-2010) 
    Wv Golf 4 1998, it will NOT read VIN on all, now i have tryed to Reset the tool, like i have and anwser on, so system is reset, and the CF card is reset too, made and update on Autel site again, nothing woorks, the tool will not reat the cars, not in Auto read, Not in Manuelt read, so what now?????
    The tool is been updated to lates software and firmware, from you site, like i supose to do, this is confusing.
